A new company, Breadbin Interactive has been formed and will continue to develop and provide customised implementations of the Freedom Toaster as a profit-driven business. The Freedom Toaster was one of the first projects initiated by the Foundation and has evolved into a resounding success story.

Breadbin Interactive has provided the Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA) with customised Toasters for the delivery of free software, business plan templates and other business tools, industry information and region specific success stories to entrepreneurs from all economic sectors to encourage them to start and grow their own businesses.
UNISA opens up access to course material with Freedom Toasters
Freedom Toasters placed in strategic positions at all University of South Africa (UNISA) satellite offices have allowed students at the world’s largest distance learning institution to compile and download course-related resources.
